Lower the current draw |
Solution |
Lowering the current draw of the Electrolyzer can be done in several ways: |
- Lower the amount of baking soda until the jar(s) stop getting hot. If you have an ampere meter, adjust the current to a maximum of 3-4 amps.
- Consider using multiple units (Multi-Cell such as the popular "6-pack"), with each 2 connected in series electrically, so they all get only 6 volts - it will make them produce far less heat per jar, or
- Do both 1 and 2.
