Water Cars vs Gas Cars
Gas powered engines have been around for a long time, and in modern times cars
powered by propane and natural gas have become a cheaper alternative to the more
conventional petrol and diesel engines.
Gas engines are very similar to conventional engines, the only real difference
being that instead of delivering petrol/diesel and air during the intake cycle,
the carburettor delivers a gas/air mixture. This gas mix is still processed in
the same way as conventional fuel in that it is compressed and then ignited, the
force of which is converted in rotary energy to power the engine. Regular cars
can be easily converted to run on gas, and although this conversion can be
expensive, the gas itself is cheaper to buy than petrol or diesel and can be
ultimately cost effective if you own a high-powered, fuel hungry car.
