The term "HHO" refers to two parts hydrogen to one part oxygen, this gas is readily combustible, even more so when mixed with gasoline. That is the basis of HHO water car operation. Through the process of water electrolysis this gas is produced and then supplements combustion. The results of many functioning HHO conversion kits have been well documented to increase your gas mileage between 20% and 50%, depending on the type of car you drive.

Building the HHO water car unit is not too difficult. A basic knowledge of mechanics is required, and complexity differs between different HHO conversion kit instructions. Some are very detailed and are geared (excuse the pun!) towards building superior units. While others are more simple and will produce a basic functioning HHO water car device.

It will take you roughly 20 hours of work to complete your HHO conversion kit, so spread it out over a few weekends and don`t rush it. Once you have installed the device you`ll be setting your engine timings to re-adjust for the different combustion speed of HHO gas. Maintenance is nothing more than replenishing the water (and sometimes baking soda) of the HHO water car unit about once a month. Once a year you will have to check the rubber tubing for any perishing.
